Use your expertise as a Visa mentor to make a difference

Now more than ever, small businesses need digital skills to survive. Digital Boost connects Visa volunteers with small businesses to help them grow through expert mentorship.

I want to volunteer
“We have an opportunity and a responsibility to improve the lives of our stakeholders around the world through the work we do every day, and the support we provide to small businesses is a great example of how Visa is helping communities in Europe to recover and thrive. Join me in making a positive impact and continuing our work to support SMEs.”

- Charlotte Hogg, Chief Executive Officer, Europe
“Building on Visa’s long-standing commitment to championing small businesses, we are proud to partner with leading volunteering and mentoring platform, Digital Boost, to enable Visa employees to directly support small businesses on their digitalization journey.”

- Jeni Mundy, Managing Director, UK & Ireland

Visa is proud to invite our employees to support the Digital Boost mission to help small businesses survive and thrive during these unprecedented times.  We invite you to sign up and offer 1 hour of your time as often as you can to virtually mentor small business owners in areas where you have expertise/experience.

By registering as a volunteer today, you are not committing to any specific time. You are simply putting your hand up to say you’re happy to help small businesses when you can.  Once you are matched with a small business seeking mentorship in your area of expertise/experience, you will always have the choice to accept or decline invitations to join a ‘boost’ call based on your availability at the time.

After your 121 mentorship call, be sure to use Benevity to log your volunteering hours.  As a reminder, you will earn US $10 or the GBP equivalent per hour that you can direct to a charity of your choosing, plus you have a chance to win US $1000 or the GBP equivalent!  You may even like to consider donating your volunteering rewards to Founders4Schools, the UK charity which built on its success as an edu-tech charity connecting young people with business role models, to develop the Digital Boost concept for small business owners.
